Countrywide Properties is a registered estate agency since April 1997. Countrywide Properties founder and Principal, Mr. K. N. Madhavan has been actively involved in real estate agency work for more than fifteen years, he previously worked with two large real estate agencies with offices in Kuala Lumpur and Petaling Jaya, Selangor.

He came into the real estate agency profession after having first worked for a MCIS Ltd, a large composite insurance company for eighteen good years. He rose from the ranks as development assistant averaging one promotion per year to become a branch manager at age 26, then agency manager and also chief agent (non-life) before leaving in 1988 to try his hand at a completely new profession i.e., real estate agency.
